The GPJE was foun­ded in Octo­ber 1999 and has since then con­ve­ned every year for its annual con­fe­rence. A GPJE mem­ber­ship is not requi­red to attend the annual conferences.

Announce­ment: Annual con­fe­rence 2021

The 21^st annual con­fe­rence of the GPJE will take place from 10 to 12 June 2021 and will be held online on the sub­ject “Civic Edu­ca­tion in super­di­verse society”. It will be hos­ted by the Georg-August-Uni­ver­si­tät Göttingen.
